Longstraw Studios

This is one of an extended series of smaller works from my imagination. Typically, I have a blank piece of watercolor paper, no reference photo. I start with the sky and see what develops. I try to complete one of these in 15 to 30 minutes as opposed to a developed Portrait or one of my large architectural subjects of especially one of the Axon environments which I may work on for days or weeks (or months.) They are relaxing and satisfying to paint.
